1. Introduction
Welcome to Alfa Zulu Tours & Travel. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules, responsibilities, and expectations for clients booking travel services with us. By confirming a booking, you agree to comply with the terms stated below.
2. Booking and Confirmation
- All bookings must be confirmed in writing via email or our online booking form.
- A deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before departure.
- Bookings made less than 30 days prior to departure require full payment at the time of confirmation.
3. Payments
- Payments can be made through bank transfer, credit card, or other approved methods.
- Any transaction or bank fees are the responsibility of the client.
- Failure to complete payment within the required period may result in cancellation of your booking without refund of the deposit.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
If you wish to cancel your trip, the following refund policy applies:
- More than 60 days before departure: 90% refund of total cost.
- 30 to 59 days before departure: 70% refund.
- 15 to 29 days before departure: 50% refund.
- Less than 14 days before departure: No refund.
- No-shows or early departures are non-refundable.
Note: Certain accommodations and services may have stricter cancellation policies. These will be communicated at the time of booking.
5. Alterations by Alfa Zulu
Alfa Zulu Tours & Travel reserves the right to make necessary changes to your itinerary due to weather, safety, or operational reasons. In such cases, we will offer an equivalent alternative of equal value whenever possible.
6. Travel Documents and Responsibilities
- It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all travel documents, visas, vaccinations, and insurance are valid before departure.
- Alfa Zulu Tours & Travel will provide assistance but is not liable for delays, denied entry, or additional expenses caused by incomplete or invalid documentation.
7. Health and Safety
- Travelers are responsible for their own health precautions, including vaccinations and medications.
- Clients must disclose any medical conditions that may affect their participation in the tour.
- Alfa Zulu Tours & Travel reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone whose condition may endanger themselves or others.
8. Liability
- Alfa Zulu Tours & Travel acts only as an agent for hotels, transport companies, and other service providers. We are not liable for loss, injury, delay, or damage resulting from negligence or other acts of third parties.
- We are not responsible for events beyond our control, including natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or flight cancellations.
9. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and loss of property is strongly recommended for all travelers.
10. Complaints and Disputes
Any complaint must be reported immediately to your tour guide or Alfa Zulu representative for prompt resolution. If the issue is not resolved, a written complaint should be submitted within 14 days after the end of the tour.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved in Kenyan courts.
